X-Lite X-803 Ultra Carbon Mastery

With the X-803, X-lite demonstrates what's possible with high-end racing helmets. The completely redesigned successor to the popular X-802RR boasts numerous improvements – ranging from extensively optimized aerodynamics and ventilation to an even wider field of vision and a significant increase in comfort. The X-803 also features the new Nolan Emergency Release System (NERS) for increased safety by quickly removing the cheek pads in the event of a fall.

The X-803's interior, made from the high-tech carbon fiber material Carbon Fitting Racing Experience, ensures optimal riding comfort and a pleasantly fresh feeling inside the helmet at all times. It not only offers optimal breathability, but is also antistatic and bacteriostatic (even without further treatment).

Like every X-lite race replica helmet, the X-803 has been optimized for optimal safety, maximum racing functionality, and minimal weight. Even the standard version of the X-803, equipped with a composite fiber outer shell, boasts record-breakingly low weight. The X-803 Ultra Carbon version, with its outer shell entirely handcrafted from extra-lightweight carbon fiber fabric, offers a further weight advantage of up to 110 grams (depending on helmet size) compared to the standard model.

Technologies:

NERS - NOLAN EMERGENCY RELEASE SYSTEM (patent pending): This system allows the cheek pads to be removed from the helmet in an emergency while the rider is still wearing it. Simply pull the red straps on the front of the helmet and the cheek pads can be easily removed.

LATERAL VISIBILITY: Compared to its predecessor (the X-802RR model), the X-803 has been improved in terms of lateral visibility. Consequently, it offers improved driving comfort and increased active safety.

PINLOCK® FOG-RESISTANT INNER VISOR: Thanks to the patented adjustment system, the stretch of the Pinlock® inner visor can be adjusted from the outside of the visor without removing it. The Full Silicone Border (FSB), licensed from Pinlock®, firstly allows for an increase in the air chamber located between the exterior and interior of the helmet, further reducing the risk of fogging. Secondly, it reduces the risk of scratching the visor.

DOUBLE ACTION: A device that allows the visor to be locked (to prevent accidental opening of the visor at high speeds) or to open the visor at low speeds or when stopped (by leaving a minimal visor opening).

RACING AIR FLOW (RAF) VENTILATION SYSTEM: The result of experience and testing in the wind tunnel and on the track, it consists of an indirect entry into the upper air intakes, direct air intake at the front, high flow chin guard with defogging function, front guard with integrated aerodynamic ventilation, side air extractors, a rear extractor integrated into an aerodynamic spoiler with adjustable profile (ASD - Adjustable Stability Device).

ADJUSTABLE STABILITY DEVICE (ASD): An innovative aerodynamic spoiler with a variable profile is integrated into the rear of the shell. The spoiler is the result of many years of experience and testing in the wind tunnel and on the racetrack. It optimizes the helmet's aerodynamic behavior while riding by stabilizing it at high speeds and promoting the escape of warm air through the spoiler's integrated outlets. Its profile and thus its aerodynamic shape can be adjusted in two configurations to optimally adapt to different positions and riding styles.

WEARABILITY: Compared to its predecessor (the X-802RR model), the wearing comfort in the chin area has been improved: the chin guard has been slightly extended to provide increased static and dynamic comfort.

CARBON FITTING RACING EXPERIENCE" COMFORT INNER PADDING WITH INNOVATIVE NET CONSTRUCTION: The comfort inner padding is made of activated carbon filaments, a thermoregulatory, antistatic, and wicking element. The liner, with its innovative mesh construction, supports airflow around the upper part of the head, keeping it cool and dry. The inner padding also includes side cheek pads (left and right) and lining straps, which are fully removable and washable.

Single-Block Cheek Pads: The internal foam padding for the cheek pads is designed to provide consistent pressure over a longer period of time compared to conventional pads. Additionally, the fabric covers are removable for easier washing.

BREATH DEFLECTOR: The breath deflector reduces the formation of condensation on the visor by directing the airflow downward. It is attached with three elastic fasteners that are inserted between the front air diffuser and the visor's edge seal.^
