In the construction of most Sidi boots, Sidi uses a new generation material called "Technomicro." Technomicro is a composite microfiber material composed of threads so fine that each one is less than 1,000 times the thickness of silk. These fibers behave like natural leather hide, but with the advantage of better strength, a softer texture, and lighter weight. Technomicro is also water-resistant, highly abrasion- and tear-resistant, and easy to clean and maintain. Technomicro does not stain and offers a lighter weight, more flexibility, and a better feel than boots made of leather or other synthetic materials.
