In 10R, the "R" stands for Racer and is aimed primarily at motorcyclists looking for an unobtrusive, streamlined, yet universally applicable communication system. Extensive basic functionality Practical functions such as listening to music (from a mobile phone or MP3 player), having commands from the navigation device announced directly in the helmet or making phone calls are standard with SENA. Several SENA devices can be used as an intercom without the need for any accessories (such as a mobile phone) to be paired. The intercom system of the SENA 10R connects up to 4 people over a total distance of up to 900 meters. Communication is not done in PTT mode (first speak, then listen) but in practical full duplex mode (you can speak and listen at the same time - just like at the local bar!). Crystal clear and super simple Crystal clear sound - whether you are communicating or listening to your favorite music. This is what sets SENA devices from the 10 series upwards apart. Advanced Noise Control technology regulates the volume in noisy environments and largely blocks out wind and other background noise. The clear 3-button concept is easy to use and therefore does not unnecessarily distract you from the road. If you still don't want to take your hands off the handlebars, you can pair a SENA handlebar remote control (optional accessory) with the 10R. This allows the rider to operate the headset completely from the handlebars without letting go of the handlebars. Safety and comfort in one. Smart, connected and universal Thanks to its Bluetooth 4.1 technology, the SENA 10R is able to communicate with the SENA smartphone app on a phone. This allows settings to be adjusted and optimized at any time, even while on the move. If music is played via a Bluetooth device (e.g. cell phone or MP3 player), the most important functions can be operated quickly and easily using the buttons on the 10R - play, pause, forward and back can be controlled, even when you are riding over a mountain pass. If a friend uses a communication system from another brand (e.g., Cardo or Interphone), but you don't want to go without your SENA 10R, you can use its universal intercom function and still communicate with the non-SENA device.
