The new C5 Carbon is the very first motorcycle helmet from Schuberth Performance. The carbon shell is handcrafted by the same highly specialized technicians who manufacture Schuberth Formula 1 helmets. Thanks to manual lamination and extended autoclave curing, the shell combines not only extremely low weight but also significantly greater structural and mechanical strength. The helmet boasts dual P/J homologation and all the renowned high-quality features and comfort of the C5. It also meets the demanding ECE 22.06 standard.

Characteristics:

• Handcrafted carbon shell, using the same lamination and autoclave processes as Formula 1
• New EPS material for improved shock absorption performance and an enlarged cavity, with two densities for the main body and sides
• New, seamless interior with the Schuberth customization concept for a perfect fit
• Lower weight and higher structural and mechanical strength thanks to autoclave curing process
• New chin strap position for greater comfort in the neck area and Anti-Roll-Off System (AROS)
• Double chin ventilation for even better air supply, including replaceable and washable filter
• New rear spoiler with air outlet
• New patented visor mechanism with “memory function”
• Enlarged field of vision thanks to the new "CityPosition" and the "V-Lock" of the sun visor
• Possible plug and play retrofitting of communication systems based on the Sena 50S with pre-installed HD speakers, mesh, FM radio, and Bluetooth antenna
• New neck pad concept for improved aeroacoustic performance (only approx. 85 dB(A) at 100 km/h on a naked bike)
• Reflective areas on the wind deflector, neck pad, visor seal and helmet sticker for improved visibility while riding with the chin guard open and closed
