The universal Quad Lock adapter can be stuck directly to your smartphone, shells and most flat metal or plastic surfaces and is compatible with all Quad Lock® mounts.

Guidelines for surfaces

The Quad Lock Universal Adapter uses a 3M™ VHB 4952 adhesive that adheres to smooth, non-textured, and non-porous surfaces such as:

• Plastics such as PC, ABS, PVC, nylon and acrylic.
• Unpainted metals
• Uncoated glass

The adhesive does not adhere to the following substrates:

• Rubber, TPU, TPE
• leather
• silicone
• Hydrophobic coated glass (also known as anti-fingerprint glass, found on the back of most modern smartphones)
• Soft-touch coating or varnish
• Low surface energy plastics such as polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), acetal and HDPE.
• Wood

We strongly recommend using a case with the universal adapter if your phone has a glass back.

Please ensure that the stand is thoroughly cleaned and dry before attaching the universal adapter.

3M™ VHB™ is a single-use adhesive and is not reusable.
