This helmet exceeds the highest safety standards and has passed the new ECE 22.06 test required for market entry in Europe since its launch.

A system developed by MT Helmets' own engineering team and debuting on the Thunder 4 SV, the first helmet to feature this technology. This system, patented by MT Helmets, allows the rider to attach/remove the visor very quickly and conveniently without having to remove the helmet.

MT Helmets has reinterpreted its designs with environmental awareness in mind. To reduce the environmental impact, efforts have been made to extend the lifespan of the helmet by incorporating removable elements that can be easily replaced when needed, whether due to breakage or need to be replaced.

The MT Helmets engineering team has developed a retractable visor system that provides enhanced protection and prevents deformation due to changing light conditions. It features a mechanism that can be operated quickly and conveniently with one hand. It is removable for easy cleaning and maintenance.

Redesigned micrometric retention system ensures it stays securely fastened and secured at all times. MT Helmets' technical department developed this system to ensure the closure is locked at at least two points, thus ensuring the system's security. This closure system, optimized for sport touring models, offers the best balance between comfort and safety.

Through fluid dynamics analysis, air channels were developed to minimize air resistance and increase internal ventilation flow, reducing temperature and humidity inside the new Thunder 4 SV helmet.

The inner padding has been specifically designed for each helmet size to ensure an optimal fit for all head sizes. The materials used to make these elements combine various fabrics that promote ventilation, wick away moisture, and dry quickly. All inner padding can be easily removed for washing or replacement.

The Thunder 4 SV offers space for a Pinlock 100% MAX vision, a system developed by Pinlock that prevents the visor from fogging up.

The base of this helmet features a three-point support system designed to ensure good stability when the Thunder 4 SV is placed on flat surfaces. This facilitates handling of the helmet during cleaning or maintenance, but also allows the elements inside the helmet to be isolated from the surface, protecting them from chafing and, above all, improving hygiene when using the helmet.
