The future of protection is in the air. The new Misano 1000 leather jacket requires no vehicle-mounted sensors, as they are integrated directly into the back protector, along with the electronics and GPS system. The Dainese-patented 3D airbag, the result of proprietary Dainese technology, allows for even inflation of the entire 5 cm surface thanks to its internal microfiber structure, guaranteeing maximum protection and comfort. The patented design of the airbag is unique and differs from all other airbags used in the automotive industry. The true heart of the system, the algorithm, monitors the rider's dynamics 800 times per second using six sensors. Based on this algorithm, the system calculates whether and when to activate the airbag in the event of an impact, a slip, or a highside. The airbag system of the Misano 1000 jacket creates synergies with the back and chest protectors. This optimally protects the collarbones, chest area, and back, while minimizing hyperflexion and hyperextension of the neck. Another safety feature of the Misano 1000 is the switch integrated into the jacket closure. This allows the system to be switched on and off, and its operating status is indicated by an LED on the right sleeve of the jacket.
