Materials and equipment

The Alpinestars SMX Z DS is constructed from a blend of PU and goatskin. This combination ensures a balance between safety and comfort. Critical parts are reinforced with suede for optimal protection. Knuckle protection and foam padding on the fingertips provide the glove with additional protection. Due to its many safety features, this glove is CE-certified at Level 1. To ensure you're also able to ride in adverse weather conditions, the SMX Z features a Drystar membrane that repels rain and is also breathable. The ergonomic stretch panels on the palms provide the necessary comfort. Touchscreen-friendly fingertips are sewn in so you can use your smartphone with the gloves.
