• DCHP features a directional impact protection system that significantly reduces the effects of excessive, potentially injury-causing energy transfer to the ankle and lower leg.

New internal ankle orthosis:

• Lighter, anatomically redesigned medial and lateral torsion arms that are compact and offer greater freedom of movement and control.
• In conjunction with the outer boot chassis, the ankle support provides vertical and lateral protection against ankle and leg compression and rotation, as well as progressive damping of torsional forces during an accident, while allowing natural freedom of movement.
• The dual pivot system allows the Tech 10 to maintain its integrity while flexing, eliminating the need for alternative torsion bars for different ankle widths and providing crucial progressive resistance to rotational and vertical forces that are otherwise so damaging to ankles, knees, upper legs and pelvis if not stopped in a controlled manner.
