Every single part in the CE-certified STELLA SMX-6 has been carefully engineered to deliver critically important peak performance for the female rider: protective innovations, improved ergonomics, and comfort features. Specifically engineered and engineered for a women's specific sport fit, the newly developed boot upper incorporates groundbreaking forefoot, rear bellow, and rear calf panels for superior levels of flexibility. The upper is constructed from advanced microfiber for outstanding durability and abrasion resistance. An ergonomic last provides greater forefoot aerodynamics for significantly greater control at the levers, and a superior all-around foot profile, fit, and comfort. Alpinestars' groundbreaking lateral TPU ankle brace provides biomechanical support between the lateral calf/shin and ankle, offering improved structural integrity, impact protection, abrasion resistance, and flex support. The sole is constructed from Alpinestars' new, unique rubber compound for enhanced feel and grip, water drainage, and durability. Vents on the heel counter and shin guard, along with breathable mesh panels (ventilated version only), improve comfort and reduce fatigue on long rides. Shin and calf guards, heel counter, shift pad, ankle brace, and toe slider are constructed from injected high-quality modular TPU for enhanced impact protection and durability. A double-density ankle protector on the medial side is layered beneath the upper, providing protective performance in key areas. Built-in, replaceable sliders constructed from bi-injected TPU feature a simple screw-on design for quick and easy replacement. Groundbreaking accordion flex zones at the instep and Achilles for excellent comfort, expansion, control, and support. Internal footbed with integrated shin reinforcement for additional arch support and foot protection. The medial-lateral opening/closure system features a zipper on an elastic panel with a wide hook-and-loop closure for flexibility and a secure fit every time. The entry opening is wide for easier on and off. Internal toe cap protection is layered under the upper for durability, improved feel, and performance. The breathable textile lining features anti-slip suede reinforcement in the heel area to keep the foot in the correct position while riding. A new removable anatomical footbed integrates EVA and elastane for performance, comfort, and support. The STELLA SMX-6 boot is CE-certified.
