Alpinestars SM-1 R V2 Vented Motorcycle Shoes The vented SM-1 R v2 is a premium, low-cut performance motorcycle boot featuring a host of technical innovations for improved comfort, fit, and durability. Features: The upper is constructed from an advanced microfiber for comfort, durability, and excellent abrasion resistance. Extensive perforations throughout for maximum airflow, with a textile front bellow for enhanced breathability. An innovative heel counter support system, which, in conjunction with a strap closure, provides improved fit and support as well as structural integrity. The rear section of the heel counter has been designed with a soft TPR insert that works seamlessly with the rear flex zone to allow improved ankle mobility and greater comfort when controlling the bike. The rear flex bellow features a flex window that also acts as an air intake for effective ventilation and airflow. A new ergonomic TPU pad is placed in the gearshift area for improved durability in a critical area. Ergonomic boot shaping streamlines the forefoot, providing a wide foot profile fit and comfort. The evolved closure strap is anatomically angled to follow the natural shape of the rider's instep. The front Velcro® closure system offers a quick and secure fit over the instep area while allowing plenty of flexibility. TPR hook-and-loop fastener for ease of use. Aramid fibers ensure the new hook-and-loop closure system is durable, thin, and lightweight. Alpinestars' exclusive compound rubber sole with a grippy pattern to promote improved feel and grip, water dispersion, and durability. Sole with integrated Alpinestars TPF (Transversal Protection Frame) to protect against potential transverse stress. The accordion flex zones on the instep and Achilles tendon are constructed from lightweight microfiber and offer optimal durability, comfort, and maneuverability on and off the bike. Thermo-welded flex grooves control the flexion and flexibility of the boot in the center and rear of the instep. The reversed zipper allows for easy entry and exit. A dual-density, bilateral ankle protector layered beneath the upper provides protection and abrasion resistance in a key area.
