The RT-7 Drystar® is a protective touring boot designed for superior comfort on and off the bike. Rider Type From the adventurous touring rider to the everyday rider who rides in inclement weather, the RT-7 is an excellent companion. Interior and Exterior Materials The RT-7 features a full Drystar® membrane for 100% guaranteed waterproofness and breathability. A technical, modern outer shell constructed from an advanced blend of microfibers and high-tenacity synthetic textiles, laminated with seamless PU for enhanced breathability. Features Alpinestar's integrated Transversal Protection Frame (TPF) protects the foot while providing necessary support on the footbed without compromising forefoot flexion, resulting in superior underfoot comfort. Internal toe box and heel protection under the upper for improved durability, feel, and performance. Internal shin plate reinforcement for enhanced shin protection. A new, dynamically designed shift pad made from 3D-printed PU technology provides effective protection for the upper foot area. The boot opens with a side zipper on an elastic panel covered with a hook-and-loop fastener to protect the zipper and prevent the boot from twisting. The sole is made of a lightweight rubber compound for excellent grip on both uphill and downhill terrain.
