A premium, versatile all-weather adventure touring jacket with a multi-layer GORE-TEX® construction integrating a groundbreaking ventilation system, the Managua jacket delivers superior comfort and first-class weather protection. Featuring internal shoulder and elbow protection and the option to upgrade to Alpinestars' Nucleon chest and back protectors, this jacket is designed to complement the Managua pants or other textile pants in the Alpinestars Touring range. Multi-layer outer shell construction with reinforced shoulder and elbow areas provides an optimal blend of durability, protection, and weight. The fully coated bonded GORE-TEX® construction provides weight savings, exceptional waterproofing, and breathability. Stretch GORE-TEX® panels on the back and elbows offer freedom of movement and a riding fit for a variety of touring motorcycle models. Groundbreaking aramid fiber reinforcements are strategically positioned at the elbows for increased tear and abrasion resistance. The innovative ventilation system features wide, zippered chest air intakes, a large rear air exhaust port, and upper arm vents for superior cooling, providing unparalleled levels of airflow and preventing potentially fatiguing heat buildup when combined. Impact protection is provided by the lightweight, removable CE-certified elbow and shoulder protectors. Chest and back compartments feature PE protective padding (Alpinestars' CE-certified Nucleon back protector and chest protector are available as accessory upgrades). The removable thermal vest (100g torso, 70g sleeves) features comfort edging and Velcro-closure interior pockets. The vest is ultrasonically welded to eliminate wrinkles and provide an overall streamlined and streamlined cut. Multiple fit and size adjusters ensure a tailored fit in the sleeve area and help keep the garment and protection in the correct position. Hook-and-loop cuffs assist the fit. Front cargo pockets, a waterproof internal document pocket, and a wide rear utility pocket provide secure and convenient storage. Full-length waterproof zippers ensure dry storage. An internal waist connection zipper allows connection to a wide range of Alpinestars textile touring pants. An adjustable internal hip belt provides additional support and a personalized fit while keeping protection in place, with bungee cord adjustment for fine-tuning the fit. TPU pull-tab details on the pockets for convenient opening and closing. Reflective inserts improve rider visibility. Hook-and-loop collar closure with microfleece comfort edge. A double-slider YKK zipper opens from the top and bottom for versatility.
