The Guyana GORE-TEX® jacket features a laminated GORE-TEX® membrane for excellent waterproofness and breathability. With premium protection and a host of comfort features to reduce rider fatigue, the Guiana is optimized for adventure travel. A multi-layer construction with strategically positioned polyester accordion panels and stretch panels on the back and elbows provide an excellent contoured fit. The outer shell is constructed with a two-layer laminated GORE-TEX® membrane for excellent waterproof and windproof protection and breathability. Laminated fabric for reduced material wrinkling and a lighter, more compact fit with excellent internal moisture management. A long-sleeved thermal lining (100g body, 80g sleeves) guarantees versatility and comfort in both cold and hot conditions and can be completely removed using easily identifiable red zippers. Anatomically pre-shaped sleeve design incorporates a dual size adjustment system with hook-and-loop fasteners and snap fasteners for improved comfort, micro-adjustment of the garment, and to secure elbow protectors. Zippered chest air intakes and back air outlets provide internal climate control and increased riding comfort. Chest and front compartments and waterproof cargo pockets ensure secure closure, as well as an internal waterproof document pocket. A large external utility pocket is located on the lower back of the jacket, along with waterproof internal compartments and a wallet pocket. Internal impact protection is provided by removable, certified elbow and shoulder protectors. Chest and back compartments with polyester foam padding (certified Nucleon back protector inserts available as an accessory). Waist adjustment with buckle provides a customized fit and keeps the garment snug against the body. Accordion flex textile panels at the elbows for arm flexibility. Internal waist connection zipper allows connection to Alpinestars pants. Reflective details on the chest, back, and sleeves improve rider visibility. Graphic details on the chest, sleeves, and back.
