Alpinestars GP Plus V4 Motorcycle Leather Jacket The race-derived GP Plus V4 sports leather jacket is more than just an evolution of the world-famous V3; it's a complete revolution. Featuring a revised silhouette, improved material selection, a new, modernized look with refined details, and a lower overall weight, the GP Plus V4 jacket is the perfect choice. The three main differences new to the GP Plus V4 are the use of A-CS™ Plus stretch fabric, extended GP-R Lite elbow protectors, and new, modernized graphics. The A-CS™ Plus stretch fabric is Alpinestars' composite stretch material found in the large side panels of the jacket. A-CS™ Plus Stretch is a material technology derived from MotoGP and offers increased stretch, high abrasion resistance, greater tear strength than leather, as well as a lower profile and overall weight—all important qualities demanded by motorcyclists when it comes to enhanced comfort and performance. The chassis construction of the GP Plus V4 is completed by a mix of racing and regular cowhide, with technical stretch material on the chest, shoulders, neck and inner arms. There are external DFS Dynamic Friction Shield shoulder sliders with Nucleon Flex Plus Level 1 armour underneath. Internally, the jacket has a removable 80g thermal vest and features long, direct-opening airflow vents on the abdomen for ventilation and climate management.
