Velocity meets versatility in the Fastback V2 DRYSTAR® boot. This road riding boot incorporates Alpinestars' waterproof and breathable DRYSTAR® membrane, internal protection, and a breathable mesh lining and padding for outstanding comfort and performance. An aggressive new upper design blends leather and microfiber for abrasion resistance and durability. Die-cut microfiber on the lower tongue and eyelet for durability and a dynamic look. A lace-up system with an adjustable hook-and-loop closure provides an easy, secure, and comfortable fit. An extended cuff provides increased protection in the lower shin area. A waterproof and breathable DRYSTAR® membrane layer is sandwiched between the upper and lining for proven performance in challenging weather conditions. Coated TPR ankle protection on the lateral quarter and under the upper on the medial quarter offer strategic protection and flexibility in key areas. A TPR lateral slider provides excellent abrasion protection. The padding in the tongue and heel area provides high levels of comfort and a precise fit around the ankle and instep. A highly breathable mesh lining provides enhanced comfort and breathability. Internal toe cap and heel counter reinforcement is layered beneath the upper for a more ergonomic design. A cupsole made of an advanced rubber compound is molded to the insole for stability, grip, and support, as well as providing underfoot comfort. The FASTBACK v2 DRYSTAR® is CE-certified according to CE 89/686/EEC - CAT 2.
