Alpinestars CR-X Drystar boots

Description
A protective motorcycle shoe with unparalleled all-day comfort: The CR-X features a running-shoe last that offers a comfortable fit and sufficient internal shoe volume to ensure good foot comfort all day long, while the waterproof and breathable Drystar® membrane guarantees effective all-weather performance. Features: The Drystar® membrane provides effective weather protection in wet conditions. The sole unit "DROP" (or the offset between the heel and toe) is set at 9 mm (many running shoes have a 9 mm drop) to ensure a smooth heel-to-toe transition when walking. It features an EVA midsole that offers excellent all-day comfort. Forefoot flex grooves are incorporated into the midsole to improve forefoot comfort (the grooves encourage flexion in the forefoot). A full-length TPU insole provides excellent riding protection and a dynamic heel-to-toe transition when walking. The asymmetrical configuration of the outsole stud provides excellent grip and abrasion resistance. The oil-resistant dual rubber compound offers optimized grip on uneven/slippery surfaces. The removable Ortholite insert provides long-lasting comfort and prevents overheating thanks to the open-cell PU compound. Hidden asymmetrical lateral and medial TPU ankle discs provide effective yet discreet ankle protection. The lightweight inner bootie features a minimal construction design for a comfortable, glove-like fit. The bellows-shaped tongue is engineered to stay in place while riding, ensuring a secure fit. The gearshift zone features a highly abrasion-resistant TPU layer for improved durability. The internal EVA layer between the outer and inner materials reduces pressure on the foot in the gearshift area, ensuring superior rider comfort. EN 13634:2017 (Protective footwear for motorcyclists)
