A fully laminated GORE-TEX® structure (three layers above the knees and two layers below the knees) is bonded for weight savings, exceptional waterproofing, and breathability. Stretch GORE-TEX® knee panels offer freedom of movement and a riding fit for a variety of touring motorcycle models. Innovative ballistic nylon reinforcements strategically positioned on the legs provide improved tear and abrasion resistance and feature a non-scratch finish to preserve the bike's paintwork. A removable 100G thermal lining allows these pants to be worn in a variety of weather conditions. An innovative ventilation system features zippered air intakes on the thighs to provide superior internal cooling and airflow, preventing potentially fatiguing heat buildup. Vents feature snap closures so they stay open while riding. Premium impact protection is provided by removable certified knee protectors. Internal hip compartments are lined with ergonomically shaped PE comfort foam for superior riding comfort. Hip compartments can be retrofitted with Alpinestars' new certified Nucleon hip protectors. A hook-and-loop cuff closure system at the calf and ankle ensures an optimized fit and keeps the protectors securely in place in the event of a slip. Deep zippered pockets keep personal belongings secure. A waist connection zipper allows connection to various Alpinestars textile jackets.
