By incorporating most of the key features of the popular K-5 into a version without a fixed chin guard, AGV has created a versatile, high-performance helmet suitable for both touring and urban use. The carbon-fiberglass shell features a spoiler for maximum stability and aerodynamic performance, while the scratch-resistant visor features a PINLOCK® design, extends below the chin, and uses a new mechanism called the Visor Magnetic System (VMS). The helmet features a CAF (carbon-aramid-fiberglass) shell in two sizes and an EPS inner shell with three different densities and four different sizes. IVS (Integrated Ventilation System) ventilation through five large air inlets on the front and two air outlets on the rear, allowing air to flow directly onto the rider's head. The central air inlet on the top has been positioned to allow maximum airflow without interfering with the internal sun visor. All air intakes and outlets are adjustable. The spoiler integrated into the shell profile maximizes aerodynamic performance and stability. The interior is made of Dry Comfort fabrics. All parts are easily removable and washable. The scratch-resistant visor is Pinlock® compatible and is designed for maximum lateral vision and facial protection right down to the chin. A new magnetic closure system called VMS (Visor Magnetic System) and an XQRS (Extra Quick Release System) visor mechanism are included. An integrated, scratch-resistant sun visor can be removed without tools. A retention system with micrometric adjustment is available. An Asian fit is available as an option. Pre-installation for a Share communication system is also available.
